Functionality Overview:

The DT292 is a sophisticated cord-

less telephone that can be used with

all Ericsson GAP/CAP (1880–1900

MHz, 19900-1920 MHz and 1910-

1930 MHz) compliant business cord-

less networks. It is delivered with a

battery, a clip and illustrated assembly

instructions.

The DT292 Quick Reference Guides

are available for all Ericsson communi-

cation systems in different languages

and can be ordered separately.

User guides can be found on the

Internet in many languages for all the

different systems.

Accessories

The following accessories can be used

in combination with the DT292

• Desk stand charger

• Carrying case

• Security clip

Rack charger

The rack charger is used for charging

multiple handset(s). The wall mounted

charging rack and its power supply are

part of a modular system which enables

a number of different installation configu-

rations. The rack charger requires a sep-

arate Power module.

Cordless Phone Manager

The Cordless Phone Manager is used for

uploading and downloading of the user

phonebook to the handset from a PC.

Also the Cordless Phone Manager can

be used for reprogramming the DT292.

A special interface cable is required to

connect the handset to a PC.

Limitations

The DT292 cordless phone is not

designed for outdoor or extremely heavy

use or extreme climates. The DT292

should not be used in an environment

where intrinsically safe devices are

required.

Environmental

Performance

The DT292 Cordless phone follows

Ericsson’s policy on the use of banned

and restricted substances. In addition the

plastic components used for the DT292

are marked for easy recycling.

The battery of the DT292 is rechargeable

and made of Nickel Metal Hydride which

ensures a long lifetime and can be easily

recycled.

Desk stand charger

As the DT292 Cordless phone set does

not include a charger, you will need to

select one of the charger sets described

below.

The Charger set for DT292 includes a

charger adapter, desk stand and an

assembly card. Four country versions of

the power adapter are available

Carrying Case for DT292

The carrying case is a stylish case that

protects the DT292 cordless phone. The

case is made of genuine leather. The clip

can rotate 180° for adaptable wearing

positions.

Security Clip

The security clip can be attached to a

belt. The phone easily slides in until a

click mechanism secures it, preventing it

from dropping on the floor. The phone

can be released by pressing two buttons

on either side of the security clip.
