Note: It will be possible to select Central phonebook even if this feature is
not supported by the system. In this case, the search will not result in
any hits. The Central phonebook option can be removed via Desk
PDM/CPDM. Please contact your system administrator.
8.8 Dialing a Name from the Central Phonebook (Optional)
To dial a name from the Central Phonebook, do the following:
1. Press Menu and select Contacts.
2. Navigate and select Central Phonebook.
3. Select Search by name.
4. Enter the first or last name and press Search.
A message box Searching is displayed.
5. Select the name to call and press Call or
.
Note: It will be possible to select Central phonebook even when this feature
has not been programmed. In this case, the search will not result
in any hits. The central phonebook feature i s programmed b y your
system administrator, and requires that the corresponding code has
been downloaded to your phone via Desk PDM/CPDM. Please contact
your system administrator.
