DT412/DT422/DT43276
Manual Message Waiting (MMW)
If the called extension does not answer you can initiate a message
waiting indication on that extension (if this function is allowed).
Answer
An indication of a waiting message appears in the display, e.g.
Voice mail: 1
.
Listen Press (see display).
A call is initiated to the extension that requested Message Waiting.
Note: If the message is not answered within a certain time
(pre-defined by the system administrator), the Message
icon appears in the display, e.g. . The message is
answered via the message list, see section “Tex t
messages” on page 77.
Order MMW to another extension
*31* å Dial and enter the extension number.
#æ Press.
Wait for the call icon to stop flashing.
æ Press to finish the procedure.
The message is sent to the called extension.
Cancel MMW to another extension
#31# å Dial and enter the extension number.
#æ Press.
Wait for the call icon to stop flashing.
æ Press to finish the procedure.
